Introductory text
The Acadiane waited for a worthy successor which came in 1984. Its name: C15, with a C like Cult! And 15? In reference to its GVWR* of 1.5 tonnes. This performance earned it the reputation of a pioneer of a new generation of delivery vans: more opulent-looking and more generous in payload.
A by-product of the Visa, it adopted the Petrol and Diesel 4 cylinder blocks that evolved throughout its particularly long career. The Visa was stopped in 1988, the Berlingo thought it would oust it in 1996 but it lasted until the end of 2006, just before the appearance of the Nemo (2007).
A favourite among tradesmen, the C15 remains highly present in the French countryside, confirming its legendary robustness. In delivery vans but also under other variations like the Family car, the "Cumbre" in Spain is enormously successful.
